Success Stories
We have had many success stories but, from time to time, we would like to share our particularly brave little fighters with you.
Tippi
Tippi was brought into the vets with 2 bones broken in each front leg. She was about a year old and very nervous. The owners did not want to finance her recovery so signed her over to us. She had 8 weeks of anaesthetics and special casts on her legs. She is now several months older and, after much training and socialisation, she is starting to appreciate life.
Below is a photograph of her with her broken legs and a photograph of her after she came home from a Charity Show very victorious having won best in the show.

Gordon was signed over to us when he was 4 weeks old after an ‘incident’ in the home involving a flight of stairs! He was a very poorly boy with a head injury and a damaged front leg. After spending some time in the vets he was taken home to be fostered by Anne. At 5 weeks of age his right front leg had to be amputated as it had died. Gordon recovered well from his surgery and was soon exploring the garden and chasing the resident labradors. When he reached 8 weeks of age the search began for a special home for this exceptional kitten – there was, however, a huge problem. The fosterer had fallen in love with him and it did seem to be mutual. Gordon has just celebrated his 1st birthday (March 08). He is still happy in his ‘foster’ home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
