What we do
We have a number of dedicated volunteers who foster animals within their homes. We take in animals from private owners, strays and animal welfare cases.
All animals, while in our care, are health checked and receive veterinary treatment as needed. We neuter and vaccinate all animals where necessary. All animals are identi-chipped, wormed and de-fleaed. If possible, we re-home all animals with 6 weeks insurance.
We assess each animal as an individual, getting to know their temperament while they are in the foster homes. We then look for a forever home that will suit that individual pet
On receiving interest, we perform a home check. This is to meet the potential new owner, to explain our adoption criteria and to look for any obvious hazards for the animal. If all goes well the homing is arranged and the animal is taken by his/her new owner.
A huge THANK YOU has to go to Kate at St. Paul’s Veterinary Clinic. She gives us a large amount of her operating time for free.
Also, if it was not for the kind donations received from a lot of this practices clients, our work could not carry on!
A big Thank You must also go to those clients of the St. Paul’s Veterinary Clinic who donate to our cause and without who, the domain for this website would not be possible.
